Participation and development of overall concepts

For many years the Institute of Ecology creates local participation processes including the development of regional overall concepts as well as public participation processes in the framework of the Local Agenda 21, landscape design concepts or the participation at complex building projects.

Regional and urban development

We develop programs, concepts and plans with decision makers. In decision processes, such as Environmental Impact Assessment and strategic environmental audit, we are involved as consultant.

Quality rating systems and networks for the building industry

We develop quality rating systems, such as the building assessment system Total Quality used throughout Austria. To push sustainable developments, we bring together different players from the building industry like architects, city planners and producers.
